1. immediate impact: once you have acted, keep an eye on the dial – it’ll show you how you’re affecting your PEA in real time

With your live data feed, see your energy usage in real time and a roundup of your past usage. 

Review how you used electricity 

• in the previous 30 days 
• in the previous 24 hours 
• live – how you’re using energy right now 

• your project – see what your linked generator is producing 

Your energy data lets you see how efficiently you’re using power and what changes you can make to become more energy efficient and optimise your bill. 

The plan your energy usage tool enables you to plan your electricity use to improve your PEA. By toggling between the Today and Week view, you’ll access forecasts for upcoming price-efficient times to help plan your energy use over these periods. By shifting energy use to the indicated green periods, your price efficiency will also improve making your home energy use better for both the planet and your wallet! 

The Today view can help you plan when to use electricity loads that might not be time sensitive, such as the washing machine, clothes dryer, or dishwasher.  

The Week view can help you pick the best days of the week to do any major energy-consuming activity, such as charging an EV. 

We provide suggested actions to give you real-time guidance to immediately improve your price efficiency.  

Updated every 5 minutes, the suggested actions are designed to help you adjust your energy consumption patterns. For example, you might wait to do laundry until you see the suggested action suggesting it’s a good time to use energy.  

Using energy at the right times helps you save money and is typically aligned with times of high renewable energy generation in the grid. 

Toggle your way to greener periods  

Green = cheaper; and with our app we help you take advantage of greener periods, even if you’re not home.  

Use the app to inform you of the best times to switch your devices on or off. Then with the Smart Plug provided with your energy tool kit, simply plug it into a power point, plug your device into the Smart Plug, and switch both on.
