Our price notifications feature will keep you informed of predicted high electricity prices, so you can shift your energy use in advance and manage your energy costs.
We offer two types of notifications:
Gain control over your energy spending by enabling Custom Price Notifications.
These notifications will alert you every five minutes when electricity prices go above your chosen threshold, helping you adjust your usage and minimise billing impacts according to your needs.
Set your thresholds – .50c per kWh, $1 per kWh or $5 per kWh – and when you receive a price notification, check the Energy Forecast in your Flow Power app. Then adjust your electricity use accordingly to optimise your Price Efficiency Adjustment (PEA) savings.
Be prepared for high price spikes with Priority Price Notifications.
Extreme weather or unexpected outages can cause electricity prices to soar. Priority Price Notifications keep you informed beforehand via SMS, enabling you to adjust your energy use and reduce cost during these rare events.
We’ll also let you know when the event has ended, or if it’s been extended.
Priority Price Notifications are a feature of the Flow Power product, which means you are unable to opt out.
